careless.jpgCARELESS TALK is the follow-up to Michael Richardson’s Sagittarius Prize-winning debut THE PIG BIN. It features the same inventive and sexually curious hero Morley Charles, as he starts at Balsley Art School (modelled on Moseley Art School, where Michael studied).

MICHAEL RICHARDSON’s stories, poems and articles have appeared in the Sunday Times, Mayfair, Private Eye and London Magazine, and his paintings have been widely exhibited. His attachment to his home city of Birmingham – to the Lickey Hills, the Motor Works, St Chad’s and the pubs of Digbeth – will delight local readers.

Michael will be joined at the launch party by DAPHNE GLAZER, whose novel BY THE TIDE OF HUMBER has just been published by Tindal Street Press. This is a vibrant story of passion, betrayal and long-distance swimming. Michael and Daphne will both be reading from and discussing their fiction.

Come to the launch to toast Michael Richardson and wish CARELESS TALK every success. Readings will start at about 7.45pm. Contact Luke Brown at Tindal Street (0121 773 8157 or info@tindalstreet.co.uk) if you’d like to attend.
